First made to be a lightweight racing shoe — the adidas SL 72 trainers didn't only make an impression on just any track, but at the track of the largest sporting event in history. Still superlight, and still grounded in minimalism, this modern version rides on a combination gum rubber and solid outsole and is finished with a durable mudguard and TPU heel clip for stability.
